Latest News from Lancaster Bridal
Lancaster Bridal has moved to its new home at 820 First Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 in the old Slaymaker Lock building off West End Avenue.
The historic structure, built around 1918, is home to other wedding related vendors, including Jeremy Hess Photography and Luxe Salon and Day Spa.
Bridal designer Janell Berté had the 4,000 foot facility renovated to reflect a more modern, youthful spirit. "So many salons are all white lace and pale blue walls. I wanted a space that reflects the modern central Pennsylvania bride. I wanted a space that brings the upscale look of New York City here to Lancaster, PA" said Ms. Berté.
With rough exposed brick and industrial metal fixtures, its not what you might expect in a wedding store. But the textures and colors perfectly accent the quality silks and elegant styling of Ms. Berté's gowns.
Appointments are essential says Ms. Berté. "When a bride visits the space, she gets our full attention. We solve problems. We primp, we fuss. This is unlike any shopping experience they have ever had."
Brides are encouraged to call (717)291-9894 for their appointments. Gowns prices start at $1,500 with an average price near $3,400. Each gown is made-to order here at the designer's studio, on premise. "This is the ultimate in custom clothes for that most important day."
